Brandon Lee Richardson Covers Daniel Ceasar's 'Get You'

March 1, 2019

Brandon Lee Richardson is a music producer and singer-songwriter from New York. In 2018, he worked with an artist named Kendyle Paige and produced her entire debut album titled, "Keep in Mind, It May Be Behind You.” The album created a lot of buzz and was a strong way to end the year after Kendyle was featured on Fox’s new singing competition, The Four: Battle for Stardom. The album was not only an excellent body of work, but it was a great introduction to Brandon’s creative abilities as a producer.

Now that we’re in the beginning of 2019, Brandon isn’t waisting any time with releasing new music and content. About two weeks ago, he stepped up as the frontman and dropped a video of him performing a cover of a Daniel Ceasar record titled, “Get You.” The guitar in the video was performed by Neimad. What I really like about this cover is that it showcases how Brandon’s artistry goes much further than just producing. He fits the role of being the main artist equally as well.

The video was filmed by Alex Kouvatsos of Blackwolf Imaging.
