If you haven’t heard of Brandon Lee Richardson (a.k.a. Brando) yet, then he is someone that you would most definitely want to keep on your radar. Coming from Yonkers, NY, Brando is no stranger to the world of entertainment. At a very young age, he was signed to a local modeling agency in White Plains, NY doing print ads. As he grew older, he decided to switch the focus of his art to music and began teaching himself how to make songs. And although the context of this article is based off of his chops as a music producer, he is not limited to just that title. His abilities range from being a music producer, singer, songwriter, pianist, composer, arranger, recording engineer, mixing engineer, and mastering engineer (all which are self-taught).

In November of 2017, Brando produced, composed, arranged, mixed, and mastered a record titled ‘Flower’ for an artist who he has been working closely with named Kendyle Paige. Since they released the record, their careers began to progress in a great way. The song also caught the attention of Diddy and DJ Khaled from the television show called The Four.

In this video, Brando breaks down how he created ‘Flower’ and gives us an inside look into his session file.
