Wander in to the Beauty of Myanmar in Oliver Astrologo's 'Enchanted Myanmar'

June 16, 2018

Myanmar, also known as Burma, is located in Southeast Asia and borders India, Bangladesh, China, Laos, and Thailand. This beautiful nation is home to nearly 100 ethnic groups, with Buddhism being the most commonly practiced religion amongst it's population. Myanmar's largest city, Yangon, is filled with markets, inspiring landscapes, and the Shwedagon Pagoda. The Shwedagon Pagoda is Myanmar's most sacred Buddhist temple. It is believed to hold relics of the four previous Buddhas of the present kalpa (a Sanskrit word meaning a relatively long period of time in Hindu and Buddhist cosmology).

"Wander around enchanted lakes, into fairy ancient towns blanketed in mysterious mist and you will be smitten with the delicate and sincere beauty of Myanmar. Go beyond the sparkling golden pagodas or the beautiful beaches and let the gentle winds guide your hot-air balloon on the best ride in the air you ever had."
