R.LUM.R Delivers Literary Imagery With His Debut EP 'Afterimage'

August 17, 2017

R.LUM.R is an upcoming R&B singer/songwriter who has a lot to say when it comes to the complicated nature of relationships. He has been making music for quite some time now. Originally, he was living in Bradenton, Florida playing classical guitar under the name Reggie Williams. Since then, he has relocated to Nashville, Tennessee where he and his team developed his new brand under the name R.LUM.R. Things started to really pop when his single, 'Frustrated', went viral last year and accumulated over 20 million streams on Spotify. Recently, he has released his debut EP titled 'Afterimage' and the doors are now open for him to become a huge success.

With R.LUM.R, the thing that stands out the most is his vocabulary. It's no secret that many R&B songs tend to be filled with cliche lyrics, but he gets the point across in a simple, yet visual way. Lines such as, "I'm needed just as soon as I don't care to be. Lost in the convenience of your memory." are proof that R.LUM.R is seasoned not just as a music creator, but as a writer in general. Recently, he has performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and is currently on tour to support the EP. We're excited to see where his career goes from here.

'Afterimage' is available now on all major online platforms. Listen to the EP sampler here:
