Everything Seems To Go Wrong In 'The Robbery'

June 5, 2017

When life gets hard, it can sometimes make us do things that aren't necessarily good decisions. And these bad decisions can than lead to an even more terrible outcome. In this short film created by Jim Cummings and Dustin Hahn, it shows us just that.

This one-shot, dark comedy briefly follows a young girl who may be having the worst day of her entire life. After getting the news that she might lose her dog forever, she attempts to rob a convenient store to get the money so she can buy it back. When she pulls out her gun in the store, however, another customer sneaks up behind her, tackles her to the ground, and makes an escape. By the time the girl gets up and reaches the counter, the clerk does not back down as expected. In fact, the clerk pulls out a crossbow from behind the counter and starts shooting at her. And things only get worse from there.
