The Visual Colors Are Strong With Sevdaliza's 'Hubris'

April 19, 2017

Synesthesia is defined as the production of a sense impression relating to one sense or part of the body by stimulation of another sense or part of the body. In this case, you can hear a sound that stimulates your brain to see different colors. With Sevdaliza's new song titled 'Hubris', the imagery is incredibly strong. The combination of it's creative production and Sevdaliza's unique and breathy vocals will most definitely put you in a trance. You can hear the labor and thoughtfulness put into every sound and layer.

Sevdaliza is an Iranian-Dutch singer-songwriter who was born in Iran before her parents decided to move the family to the Netherlands. She left home when she was 16 and eventually became a professional basketball player. However, she felt that the life of an athlete was too robotic. With music, she was able to embrace her feelings. So she spent many hours in the studio learning how to use Ableton and teaching herself how to sing. If you ask us, all of that time spent was worth it because she has gifted the world with beautiful music to listen to.
